Today we have a guest post from Michelle Ford, a writer with a passion for all things design. Here’s what Michelle has to say about the must-have color trend for the new year:
If you’re looking for some floral inspiration for your wedding, we’ve found it: Pantone has announced that the 2014 color of the year is a purplish-pink hue called Radiant Orchid. The vibrant, feminine color certainly is a bright pop that we expect to see lots of brides choosing for their wedding days.
Radiant Orchid is a fresh purple with a splash of pink, and the shade is taken straight from nature. Brides can go straight to the florist for a swatch of inspiration, because the shade is inspired by the elegant and graceful orchid flower. You can incorporate the flower into your wedding day with orchid bouquets, table settings, boutonnieres, cake decorations, and hair accents.

Add more touches of Radiant Orchid throughout your wedding day by dressing your bridesmaids in the purple-pink hue and incorporating color into your wedding invitations.
